green building

We are fortunate to work with a group of visionary architects deeply considerate about the environment without compromising their design truth.  In turn we have the opportunity to build environmentally friendly homes, casegoods and furniture always maintaining aesthetic and functional integrity.  In our manufacturing facility we always try to take it a step further as well.

Clean Air

We use non-toxic, water-based paints and lacquers.

Casegoods: 100% urea formaldehyde free and VOC free plywood - compliant with the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards, earning one point for LEED’S EQ Credit 4.4 for Low-Emitting

Materials: Composite wood.

Sustainable Raw Materials

Bamboo, a highly sustainable wood, actually a tough growing grass, used for kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and furniture.

All solid wood and veneers are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified sustainability harvested wood. Certification requires that wood is grown from tree farms practicing superior forestry management practices keeping old growth forests in tact and having a direct and permanent positive impact on the world’s forests and the people living in and around them.

We invest in innovative technology and machinery reducing waste in all of our building processes. All production waste is recycled as fuel to heat our factory.

Timeless Design & Superior Craftmanship

Our homes and case goods are built to last a lifetime.  Utilizing a timeless design, quality materials and expert craftsmanship you should enjoy your home for generations.  Machine made or handcrafted? We believe in both offering an efficient, precise, machine quality product along with the flexibility and unique nature of handwork. Custom pieces are only limited by one’s imagination.

Buy Local

Our manufacturing facility is just in a suburb outside of Boston where most of our suppliers are within a thirty mile radius. Importing doesn’t seem to make sense anymoresince it's costly to our customers as well as  the environment.
